How to enter

Running Stones: earned by finishing 20K / 50K / 100K / 100M categories at a UTMB World Series Event (1 / 2 / 3 / 4 stones) or Major (double: 2 / 4 / 6 / 8).
UTMB Index: a valid Index (available from 5,500+ races worldwide) is required to enter the Finals lottery.
Direct entry: each Series Major grants a total of 210 automatic Finals places to elite and top-ranked runners.
General entry: non-Finals Series events usually take entries through the official website, first-come or by lottery.

Notes for Hong Kong runners

Time zone: 1 hour ahead of Hong Kong. Entry windows are published in local time — the Hong Kong equivalent may fall a day earlier or later, so have your account and payment ready the day before.
Register early: most races require a verified account before entries open, and opening-day traffic is heavy.
Places get released: unpaid entries are freed up, and some races run a supplementary ballot.
